Scotland could follow England with national inquiry after victim's plea
JOHN Swinney is “open” to a grooming gangs inquiry after a victim pleaded with him to launch an investigation.
The First Minister hinted at a national probe after the Record revealed the case of a 13-year-old abused while she was in care.
We told how “Taylor”, not her real name, claimed she had been groomed by a gang of up to 10 men in Glasgow around 2013.
She is now in her 20s and wrote to the First Minister urging a national investigation.
