STUART KETTLEWELL insists the Kilmarnock board can’t put any more pressure on him than he does himself.

- BY SCOTT DAVIE STUART KETTLEWELL

The Rugby Park side have gone from third top to third bottom during a run of 10 Premiership games without a win.

It’s their worst slump since the season they were relegated to the Championship in 2021.

Dundee sent them down in a playoff and now both are fighting for survival along with Livingston.

But Kettlewell reckons the display in yesterday's 2-1 loss to Aberdeen shows that the players are still fighting for him.

He’s also banking on chairman and owner Billy Bowie showing the same faith as Killie approach a make-or-break spell.

It’s Falkirk at home followed by St Mirren and Dundee away with the transfer window looming.

Kettlewell knows he's under serious pressure but was annoyed at being asked if there was any comparison with Tony Docherty, who was binned by his former club Ross County yesterday.
