Punam tells of shock, fear and trauma at diagnosis
SCOTTISH TV doctor and former Strictly contestant Punam Krishnan has revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
In an emotional post on social media, the 42-year-old GP, from Glasgow, thanked the NHS staff caring for her.
The mum-of-three competed in the 2024 series of the BBC dance competition alongside professional partner Gorka Marquez.
A regular face on BBC Morning Live, she said she was given the devastating diagnosis five months ago.
