TV FUNNYMAN'S HEALTH DRAMA
STILL Game star Gavin Mitchell was rushed to hospital by ambulance after falling unconscious as he choked on food.
The TV actor told how his partner dialled 999 after he stopped breathing, and he was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
Posting a picture on his Instagram yesterday, the comedian left fans stunned as they saw him lying in a hospital bed wearing a nasal cannula.
A second image showed the 61-year-old holding the book Hello Darling by Rupert Everett to get him through his stint in hospital.
Writing about the triumphs and tribulations of he and his loved ones in 2025, Mitchell revealed that he took an “unexpectedly dramatic visit” to hospital on Tuesday after the choking incident.
He added that he had “passed out and stopped breathing”.
He then went on to ease fans’ worries by saying “hopefully all will be well today”.
