PREMIERSHIP bosses have told Rangers and Hibs they can postpone their matchweek three fixtures to help boost their European prospects.
The Ibrox and Easter Road clubs asked for their games away to St Mirren and Falkirk, respectively, on the weekend of Augusts 23/24 to be put off if they are both still battling to reach the group stages of European competitions.
Under the new SPFL policy, Aberdeen's trip to Dundee United has already been put off due to the Dons' Europa League bid.
