Gray wants his heroes to sink Legia and reach group stage for first time
DAVID GRAY has backed Hibs to keep defying the odds by making the European group stage for the first time in their history.
Only Legia Warsaw stand in the Leith outfit's way of making the £5million Conference League section.
That was after they completed a memorable 4-3 aggregate win over Serbian giants Partizan, which included a 2-0 win in Belgrade.
Hibs host the Poles tomorrow night in the first leg and Gray, whose team beat Livingston 2-0 in Sunday's Premier Sports Cup tie, is eyeing more Euro glory.
He said: "This group has given themselves the opportunity to create history and that's something we have spoken a lot about. They are performing at a very high level and standard at the minute but Thursday night now needs to be the biggest performance of the season.
