Scottish Cup winner Thelin has busy schedule as he plots Dons' bid to land more silverware
JIMMY THELIN returns to work today with the shiny piece of silverware still lighting up Cormack Park.
The Scottish Cup-winning boss will be back behind his desk as he finalises pre-season preparations with players set to come back in at the end of the week.
Success was secured at Hampden in May but Thelin is hungry for more.
The Dons have the added challenge of guaranteed European group stage football which kicks off with the Europa League qualifiers next month.
Thelin's squad will do the hard yards at their training ground before they head over to their pre-season camp in Portugal.
The Dons then have friendlies against Cove Rangers and Ipswich Town before their Premiership campaign kicks off away to Hearts on August 4.
The good thing for Aberdeen is they will have a couple of league fixtures under their belts before they kick-off in Europe.
Record Sport looks at some of the main tasks Thelin has to address before then...
