Kev promises to deliver goals - just like before
KEVIN NISBET has already proved he can handle the job of firing Aberdeen's season into life - and insists he's ready for a repeat.
The Scotland international is back at Pittodrie after a £300,000 deal with Millwall was struck in the wake of a loan stint last term he signed off from as a Scottish Cup winner.
And he is likely to be the main goal threat again after the 28-year-old agreed a three-year contract following his exit from the Championship club.
Dons boss Jimmy Thelin also added Kusini Yengi in July but he has still to net outwith the League Cup, while fellow striker Marko Lazetic only arrived from AC Milan just over a fortnight ago and is still settling in.
But Nisbet, who netted 14 goals in red last term, is eager to kick on with even more this season as he eyes further silverware in the north east.
He said: “I'll have the same expectation on me as last year.
“People expect me to score, which is what I'm here to do.
“Last season when I wasn't scoring I was told about it, which is fair enough, and I started scoring goals.
“I lived up to the expectations so it’s the same this time - scoring goals and giving a bit of leadership because we have a young group, a new group. I need to bring my experience.
