RUSSELL MARTIN has already lasted longer at Rangers than Brian Clough did at Leeds United but there's more than a hint of the Damned United about his Ibrox reign.

As a vegan who forgoed the fabled brogues and didn't wear a suit and tie on matchdays, the former Southampton boss was up against it from the start with a section of the fanbase.
