Nancy's a big admirer of Tierney and would love more like him to fit system and strengthen side
-
WILFRIED NANCY has had a crash course in life at Celtic in his first three weeks in the gig.
But the Hoops boss has already learned it takes a special type of players to cut it in this environment.
Nancy is counting down the days until the January sales and is hoping the Parkhead recruitment team have some reinforcements lined up.
Celtic badly need a striker and some other key parts that can fit the Frenchman's system.
But when it comes down to player profiles, he's already got one on the books to hold up as a perfect example - Kieran Tierney.
Nancy didn't need to do any homework on the defender, given the heights he's hit in a stellar career with Celtic, Arsenal and Scotland.
Yet getting a look up close has given the gaffer an insight to the KT traits you can't see from afar.
Like having the chops to flourish at a club where the demands are never lower than sky high.
And it's that side Nancy will be looking for when it comes to his rebuilding mission. The boss said: "It is key. We have a lot of ability in terms of the way we play.
"It is important that when you sign players, they need to have personality.
"This is a big club. To play here is not always easy.
