Joanna says 30,000 steps a day put her on the path to motherhood at age of 44
A FIRST-TIME mum has credited walking 30,000 steps a day for her Amazon delivery job for successful IVF at age 44.
Joanna Forrester, from Aberdeen, moved to the US at 33, where she met her Norwegian partner Sindre. When she returned to the UK in 2019 she began to research egg freezing.
Bristol Centre for Reproductive Medicine told her that due to her age and egg reserve, she would have more success freezing embryos instead. The couple began the process to freeze embryos and start IVF - but as lockdown hit, they had to pause the plan.
