Man arrested after helicopter and boat units pursue motorised dinghy down firth
ARMED cops chased a suspect in a dinghy down a river after an officer was allegedly attacked.
Police in a helicopter and boats went after the small vessel with an outboard motor down the River Clyde off Greenock.
Cops initially went to the town’s East India Harbour after reports of concern for a person at around 2am yesterday.
