Oisin: Jambos ready to bounce back from first setback under McInnes

- BY GORDON PARKS

OISIN McENTEE insists Hearts are ready to add the old bouncebackability to their repertoire and prove defeat in Paisley was only a bump in the road.

The Irishman will line up against Motherwell today aiming to help his side stay at the summit by banishing the pain of last weekend's Premier Sports Cup shootout exit to St Mirren.

One consolation was the 24-year-old opening his goal-scoring account for the Jambos and McEntee is adamant three points against Well can keep the feelgood factor going in Gorgie.

He said: “The priority is to make sure the good feeling around the club continues. It’s a really good time at the minute in terms of the league.

“We just need to keep it positive and keep performing.

“If we’re performing on the pitch, there will be a good feel around the club.

“There are big expectations and rightly so - it’s a massive club. It's down to us to keep the standards high and give it our all for every game.

“It's about bouncing back after losing to St Mirren on penalties.
