Prop comes with letter from Lucas
A LIGHTSABER used by Ewan McGregor in the first Star Wars prequel film is expected to fetch up to £150,000 at auction.
The weapon wielded by the actor while playing Jedi knight Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of the highlights in a sale of Hollywood memorabilia.
McGregor, 54, used the prop in the 1999 film The Phantom Menace which marked his first appearance as the famous character.
The lightsaber is believed to be the only one to come to auction accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Star Wars creator George Lucas.
