IF there’s one thing the frustrated Rangers support can't grumble over right now, it’s the willingness of the club's new American owners to spend their hard-earned dollars.

NOT S-MART TO HOLD ON TO MANAGER

A mere 108 days have passed since Andrew Cavenagh, Paraag Marathe and the money men from the San Francisco 49ers took possession of the keys to Ibrox.

In that time they've handed over the kind of sums that their counterparts at Celtic Park seem determined to cling on to forever.

A whopping £75million was spent initially on purchasing the controlling stake that has now installed Cavenagh as chairman.

They then dug deep to find another £40million in order to fund Russell Martin's shambolic summer rebuild.

But as things unravel on the pitch at Ibrox, the new owners are about to find it’s not the piles of cash that they are burning their way through quickest, but their reserves of supporter goodwill.
