'Miracle' lad provides hope to youngsters in hospital

A BRAVE boy who defied doctors’ expectations is helping bring hope to sick kids by reminding them there is a “light at the end of the tunnel”.

Noah Connell, eight, suffers from Pierre Robin Sequence and was born with part of his spine missing, an underdeveloped jaw, cleft palate, a small neck and a floppy airway.

Dubbed a “miracle baby” after medics feared he'd survive only two weeks, he has designed a special Christmas bauble for the hospital that saved his life.

The decoration, called Noah's Light, is the star of this year's Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity festive campaign to raise funds for the organisation.
