Palace can't stop old boy Ebere scoring ‘unbelievable winne

MIKEL ARTETA hailed an “unbelievable” winner from Eberechi Eze and claimed it was Arsenal's best result of the season.

Gunners hero Eze scored with a spectacular scissor-kick against his former club to settle a scrappy affair that strengthened Arsenal's grip at the top.

Declan Rice, William Saliba and Riccardo Calafiori went off injured but the leaders held on for a precious win after a 10th clean sheet in 13 games in all competitions this term.

Boss Arteta said: “The technique is unbelievable.

“We needed something special against a team so well organised. This was a very special game for him.

“That's what big players do and he's certainly a big player. Hopefully that’s going to give him a big boost and confidence to generate many more moments like this because that's a moment that sometimes defines a season.
