THE ex-wife of Suffolk Strangler Steve Wright is convinced he has killed more women - following his 11th-hour guilty plea over the murder of teenager Victoria Hall.

Diane Cole, 71, said of the onetime QE2 waiter, currently serving a whole life sentence for killing five other women: “I think there's more to come at least another four or five women. “He's a cruel man who has killed so many more, I'm sure of it. I just hope he comes clean for the sake of the families. I feel sorry for them. “He's a disgrace to humanity, a monster. I'm glad the family has a bit of closure but you can never replace a daughter”.

Last night Wright's own brother, Keith, 57, also said he feared there could be more victims.

He said: “It’s time he did the right thing and told the police everything.

“There's still so much we don't know so many unanswered questions. How many more victims are there?”

At the Old Bailey yesterday, Wright pleaded guilty to the murder of 17-yearold Victoria in Felixstowe in Suffolk more than 26 years ago.

The 67-year-old, formerly of Ipswich, had been due to go on trial but changed his plea at the last moment. It is the first time Wright has admitted any killings and he had a faint smile as he left the dock.

Diane said after the case: “I was thrilled but surprised he admitted it.”

A-level student Victoria was on her way home from the Bandbox nightclub when she vanished in 1999.
