Record Hibs signing Klidje and old boy Junior haunt the Dons

RECORD signing Thibault Klidje was on the money for Hibs as he sunk Aberdeen again with a little help from Junior Hoilett.

The striker netted the opener before another costly Dimitar Mitov howler allowed Hoilett to come back and haunt his former side.

This impressive win cemented David Gray's side in the top six and knocked the Dons out of the top half in the process.

Klidje, the £1million summer signing from Luzern, has only netted four goals but Aberdeen are starting to hate the sight of him. He bagged the winner at Pittodrie in October and put them ahead last night.

Gray will now hope Klidje and Hibs can kick on going into 2026.

Last night's win was important as Motherwell and Rangers, ahead of them, both won. It was back-to-back wins after their derby heroics.

As for Aberdeen, their recent Premiership revival looks to have hit the buffers. They've taken just one point from the last nine.

The Dons expect European football and it will take a big improvement from their current form and performances. This is a big window for Jimmy Thelin.

Gray's side had put everything into their derby win over Hearts on Saturday and there was always the chance of a bit of a drop-off.
