Chief suspect may walk free next year after court ruling
A SHOCK legal ruling means the prime suspect in Madeleine McCann's disappearance may be free early next year.
A judge has overturned an arrest warrant for German paedophile Christian Brueckner, who is on trial accused of sex crimes in the Algarve, Portugal.
Judge Ute Inse Engelmann ruled the German court had not heard strong enough evidence to keep him behind bars.
