Chris: New deal was a no-brainer... I adore life in Edinburgh with Hibs
CHRIS CADDEN admits the emotional bond he has with Hibs made it an easy decision to sign a new two-year deal.
The wing-back put pen to paper on fresh terms yesterday afternoon to end uncertainty over his future.
The 28-year-old, who joined Hibs under Jack Ross in 2021 from MLS side Columbus Crew, has become a key member of the team and favourite among the fans.
And as Hibs look to strengthen their grip on third place at Kilmarnock today, Cadden admits he is loving life on and off the pitch in Edinburgh.
Cadden said: "Why would you want to leave? I feel the club's in a great place. I love it here. It's a club that's special to me – it's really got to me and it's a great club as well.
"So when the club came with the contract, it was a no-brainer for me. I just thought I'd get it done.
"When you come in here, it's hard not to get an attachment to it.
