Fan Maddi moved to tears by Capaldi's £5k donation
LEWIS Capaldi’s kindness left a fan in tears after he donated £5000 to her fundraiser on the spot.
The Scots singer was arriving at London 02 arena ahead of his sold-out show when he met Maddi Thurgood, who has an ultra-rare motor neurone disease called SPG15.
Lewis, 28, stopped for a photo with Maddi, who was with her mum Carina and sister Alex.
Carina handed him a leaflet about their fundraising campaign to raise money to support her daughter's care and medical research.
