Ibrox legend urges Gers to add to rivals' troubles
BARRY FERGUSON has urged Rangers to make Celtic's start to the new year even more “miserable and chaotic" than the shambolic end to 2025.
The former Rangers skipper and interim manager has tipped his old club to come out on top of tomorrow's Old Firm showdown with a 2-1 win.
That would drag the Ibrox side level on points with the champions in second place behind pace setters Hearts on the back of a crushing defeat for Wilfried Nancy and his men in Motherwell on Tuesday.
And, writing exclusively for Record Sport, Ferguson says an already poisonous atmosphere inside Parkhead could quickly turn toxic if Rangers can grab a precious early lead.
