KASPER: MARTIN HAS GREAT CHARACTER TO LIFT AND DRIVE US ON
Daily Record
|November 06, 2025
KASPER SCHMEICHEL reckons Martin O'Neill has been the ideal manager to lift Celtic after the “sad” and “horrible” departure of Brendan Rodgers.
The Danish goalkeeper is back in his homeland for tonight's clash against Midtjylland.
Schmeichel celebrated his 39th birthday yesterday as he prepared for the tie and has lost none of his zest despite his advancing years.
Although 34 years older than the Celtic No.1, O'Neill has also lost little sparkle having surged back into the club to boost the place after Rodgers’ exit.
