INEVESTI Milne, right, chats with Graeme Shinnie after draw

- BY SCOTT BURNS

JACK MILNE insists Aberdeen must stop giving away cheap goals in their pursuit of a top-three spot.

Conceding sloppy goals has been a common theme of late for Jimmy Thelin's side of late, with the stopper admitting he's also been guilty of blunders.

In the 1-1 weekend draw with Dundee United at Pittodrie, Amar Fatah dispossessed Nicky Devlin to side-foot low past keeper Dimitar Mitov and put the visitors ahead.

Milne knows they need to cut out the self-inflicted errors at fifth-placed Hibs tonight if they want to get back into the fight for the European places.

He said: "We dominated large parts of the [United] game and we got to the final third many times but didn't do enough to create enough chances and score.

"The goal we gave away was too cheap.
