AYR were my each-way punt for the Championship so I was pretty happy when I checked my phone last Friday to discover it had taken them just five minutes to score in Arbroath.

I was back home by the time the second half kicked off so I switched on the telly and expected to see Scott Brown's men build on their 1-0 halftime lead.
But staring at the live text for another 45 minutes would arguably have been more entertaining as the Honest Men launched a succession of aimless long balls towards Curtis Main and George Oakley.
Ayr were woeful and could have no complaints about dropping two points when Arbroath netted a late leveller.
It will be interesting to see how Brown's side respond at home to Raith today, with Ayr turning on the style at Somerset Park in their League Cup group games.
