I wouldn't pay blind bit of notice to goings on in East End.. I believe of notice to goings and that's more relevant than ever right now

Gers have plenty to be sorting out themselves

IT was a busy transfer deadline day at Ibrox with a couple of ins and outs before the window shut.

But you couldn't say the same across the city.

As the clock ticked towards 11pm on Monday night, I'm sure the Celtic fans were expecting to see Brendan Rodgers get the proven striker he has been desperate for.

Instead, they were forced to wait another 24 hours just to see Kelechi Iheanacho announced as their new frontline recruit only a day after he'd been released by Sevilla.

Somehow, Celtic seem to have come out of the window with a squad that in some people's eyes is weaker than the group they entered it with, despite having a decent bank stash sitting there ready to be spent.

No doubt there are some Rangers fans looking at Celtic's troubled transfer drive and getting excited about the prospect of a Parkhead collapse.

But that's not my viewpoint. In fact, I wouldn't pay one blind bit of notice to what is going on in the East End.

Even if Celtic had splurged £50m this summer on a new strike force, it wouldn't bother me.

And it is certainly none of my concern that they have had a disappointing window.

I always believe in looking after No.1 and that is more relevant than ever right now.
