Jordan heads for AFCON hoping Hibs go on a roll

JORDAN OBITA has backed Hibs to handle the loss of their Africa Cup of Nations absentees as he prepares to join Rocky Bushiri over in Morocco.

Both Uganda defender Obita and Zimbabwe midfield star Miguel Chaiwa were given permission to delay their departure to the African showpiece event until after Monday's clash with Rangers.

But they were forced to do without centre-back Bushiri, who has already met up with his DR Congo teammates.

Without him, David Gray's team crashed to a narrow 1-0 defeat in Glasgow as they lost to Gers for the third time this season. The result cost Hibs the chance to climb up to third place in the table.
