Cheick wants to keep clicking with Ikpeazu

- FRASER MACKIE

CHEICK DIABATE took more pictures of pal Uche Ikpeazu with fans than he did the sights of Edinburgh when touring Scotland's capital city.

But Diabate doesn't mind being Ikpeazu's unofficial snapper if it means the striker remains in the frame at St Johnstone for the season.

Diabate's teamed up with his fellow Londoner on and off the park since signing for Saints.

But Ikpeazu's future remains in doubt as he can trigger an exit clause in his deal before the end of the window.

The former Hearts forward turned matchwinner on Saints' last league outing a 1-0 victory over Ross County.

Diabate reckons Ikpeazu is as popular in the Perth camp as he is around Gorgie - so he hopes the striker hangs about to help Saints earn promotion.
