Police incidents up 15% in two years
ONE of Scotland's biggest concert venues has seen a shock rise in crimes in the last two years.
Figures released by Police Scotland show there were 168 reported incidents at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow in 2024 compared with 147 in 2023 - an increase of almost 15 per cent.
Crimes amount for the majority of cases with 117 last year compared to 98 in 2023. There has also been a hike in the offences detected by officers from 85 to 87 in the same period.
