Martin on brink as owner arrives in Glasgow and Hutton reckons manager should fear the worst

- BY ANDY NEWPORT

ALAN HUTTON has told Russell Martin he should be worried after Rangers owner Andrew Cavenagh made an emergency return to Glasgow.

Tycoon Cavenagh touched down last night just after 9pm as he flew in on a private jet to take control of the brewing Ibrox crisis.

The furious Light Blue legions have organised a doorstep demo ahead of tomorrow’s Premier Sports Cup quarter-final clash with Hibs in protest at the shambolic start to the season made by Martin's stuttering side. Thousands more are set to blank the game altogether.

Now ex-Gers star Hutton admits the situation is looking grave for the Rangers gaffer after the club's worst league start in almost 50 years.

He admits if he was Martin, he would be hugely concerned by the fact Cavenagh made an unscheduled trip from Pennsylvania.
