Murphy dubs Chang big news as four tons in a row light up Llandudno
SHAUN MURPHY declared Judd Trump and Ronnie O'Sullivan “would be on the news” if they wowed in Wales like century star Chang Bingyu did.
The 23-year-old made four consecutive century breaks as he dazzled in his Welsh Open first-round showdown in Llandudno.
Murphy found himself on the end of a 4-0 mauling but couldn't help but join the auditorium’ applause for the Chinese player.
Chang opened with a run of 130, which he then followed up with 136, 119 and another 130 to stun the former world champion, who potted just one red in frame three.
