Martyn backs Danny to haul men into contention
MARTYN WAGHORN has come up against Danny Rohl firsthand and believes he has what it takes to get Rangers back in the title race.
The former Ibrox star faced the current Light Blues boss when they were in the English Championship. Waghorn was at Derby and Rohl was in charge of Sheffield Wednesday.
The ex-striker is in no doubt the new man can get them into the Premiership chase.
Rangers are now 12 points behind leaders Hearts although they also have a game in hand.
Rohl will be looking for another win when Livingston make the trip to Ibrox this weekend.
Waghorn claimed: “I think the league is wide open. Yes, Hearts have started well but can they keep it going? Also, Celtic don't look as strong as they have been.
“It is all there for Rangers. I think if Rangers can put a string of results together, then they'll be competitive again.
