Family fire up Jack to reach last eight
JACK DRAPER came from a set down to book his spot in the quarter-final at Queen's and is one win away from being a top-four seed at Wimbledon.
The British No.1 took more than two hours to beat Australia’s Alexei Popyrin 3-6 6-2 7-6.
And he was spurred on by the home crowd and his extended family, with his grandad cheering him on from the front row.
Draper, 23, said: “It was tough. He was serving cannons and I felt quite low on my energy.
“I've not been feeling so good. I think I really got myself going. Maybe the crowd picked up on the fact I needed that energy. And definitely I felt that in the second and third set. I started to feel like they were behind me and in the tiebreak also.
