Dirty school gear washes costing dosh

A poll of 1000 parents with school age children found they will also manage to break four zips in the same time frame.

And on average, their little ones will come home with mud all over their trousers after particularly raucous playground games twice a week.

While 52 per cent will return home a few days a week ~ if not every day - with food stains down their white shirts.
