Hibs’ Barlaser hitting the gym to muscle in on Scottish game
DAN BARLASER is ready to do some heavy lifting on and off the pitch at Hibs after admitting he is enjoying getting more time in the gym.
The Middlesbrough loanee is in line for a full debut in tonight's rearranged Premiership clash at Falkirk after making a second sub outing in Saturday's Premier Sports Cup exit to Rangers.
Barlaser has settled in well after joining on transfer deadline day and is loving having more time between games after being used to playing three matches in a week south of the border.
And the 28-year-old is planning to flex his muscles by spending more time in the gym.
He said: “I couldn't believe I had a couple of weekdays that we didn't play!
“It was a bit of a rest for me because obviously with gym programmes and stuff like that down south, you don't really get to do a lot because you have Saturday and Tuesday games.
“Whereas here, you get a lot of time to progress in the gym and do more training.
“It's a good thing really that you get that time.
