MICHAEL Gove has apologised for his party's shambolic handling of the pandemic but claimed Boris Johnson should not carry the can.
The Tory peer denied Baroness Hallett’s findings following the inquiry that there was a “toxic and sexist” climate at the heart of the Tory government.
She said quicker action would have saved up to 23,000 lives.
