Ibrox boss reckons Fenerbahce are levels above any side they have faced this season and Mourinho's men are good enough to go all the way

BARRY'S TURKEY SIZZLER

BARRY FERGUSON last night warned his Rangers team that Fenerbahce are on a different level from anything they've faced so far in the Europa League.

The stand-in Ibrox boss reckons Jose Mourinho's Turks are good enough to go all the way to Bilbao and lift the trophy this May.

But Ferguson is also confident a Rangers team that has reserved its best display for the continent can put recent domestic struggles behind them at the notoriously raucous Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.

Mourinho's men come into the last-16 shootout on the back of an 18-game unbeaten run and Ibrox caretaker Ferguson said: "First and foremost the team's done brilliantly to get to this stage. Now you're up against a very good Fenerbahce team.

"We understand what they're coming up against with players like Dusan Tadic and Edin Dzeko up front. They have so many other top-class players and we're expecting a tough night. We need to be at our very best if we want to get a good result here.
