Celt Kyle gets midfield masterclass lessons from Broonie at Somerset
KYLE URE is getting a Scott Brown midfield masterclass lesson to help the highly-regarded youngster fulfil his promise.
The Celtic kid scored on his Scotland Under-21s debut and was impressive in last week's 12-0 romp against Gibraltar. Ure is looking to make it a doubleheader win this afternoon against Azerbaijan in Baku to help the Euro 2027 campaign get back on track, after defeats to the Czech Republic and Portugal.
The 19-year-old, who is on loan at Ayr, was hailed as a future Celtic captain by ex-boss Neil Lennon earlier this year.
And it’s clear Ure is relishing working under another Parkhead hero - Somerset Park gaffer Brown. He said: “It's been great working for him.
“I got a really good impression when I met him and I felt like it was going to benefit me massively because he played in the same position as me.
