THIS week really has had it all so far.
Massive shocks, dead heats, flag starts, every type of weather and, of course, quality performances, none more so than Whirl in yesterday's Group 1 Nassau Stakes.
Her victory earlier in the season over Kalpana looked very good given what that filly went on to do in finishing second in the King George, but Whirl needed to back that up — and my word she did.
She's a high-class, tough three-year-old filly and will surely bag another Group 1 before the season is up.
