Semenyo sparks the City rout

FOR a good 20 minutes, nothing much went right for Antoine Semenyo.
But for the other 70-plus minutes he more than made up for that.
As soon as he pounced on Sander Berge’s misdirected header to open the scoring, he had City coasting to a victory which cranked up the pressure on Arsenal.
He then simply set up Nico O'Reilly to round off a real whip-crack of a counterattack with a second for Pep Guardiola's men.
And it was his diversionary run which gave Erling Haaland the space to collect Phil Foden’s clever short pass and fizz home his first goal from open play in almost eight weeks to cut Arsenal's lead at the top to three points.
