Gers bounce back from two big blows as Rohl notches third league win on the spin

The travelling Gers faithful jazzed up their Rohl chant with a new line about the boss getting their team playing electric and hating Celtic.

And the German succeeded in adding a fresh flourish to his side's stale attacking setup, at least early on. Rohl has to stabilised his new team’s results in the league by switching to a three-man backline.

But the tactical tweak left Gers short on bodies and width at the top end of the pitch, a glaring factor in Thursday's limp loss to Roma.

A return to a back four was designed to solve that issue and it worked a treat, with runners constantly darting in and out of the gaps in between the Dark Blues' midfield and defence.
