NATION HIT BY WEATHER WARNINGS
TRAIN services in some areas were suspended and ferries cancelled as Storm Bram swept in with gusts of wind up to 90mph.
The Met Office issued an amber wind warning for northern Scotland yesterday, while the rest of the country was covered by yellow wind and rain warnings.
It warned of potential “danger to life” from flying debris as well as possible power cuts, travel disruption and damage to buildings and homes.
