3000 UK refugees turn up in Glasgow

Labour accused over flood of homeless claims
OVER 3000 refugees have headed to Glasgow from other parts of the UK to declare themselves homeless in the last three years.
Glasgow City Council released this year's figure amid concerns of a £66million black hole caused by homelessness.
The Labour Government has been accused of being responsible for the surge after moving to close asylum hotels.
Separate legislation, going back decades, means refugees granted leave to remain in other parts of the UK can ask for rehousing aid north of the border.
