Wales football legend Yorath dies aged 75

ONE of Wales’ most successful ever managers has died at the age of 75 following a life filled with incredible highs and devastating tragedy.
The death of Terry Yorath was announced yesterday morning. The news came after his daughter, Gabby Logan, left her duties as Match of the Day presenter during Wednesday’s night episode.
Regarded as an icon of Welsh football, Yorath won 59 caps for his country as a player and later went on to manage both Swansea City and Cardiff City.
He is probably best remembered for his time as manager of the national team, guiding them through something of a golden period when he managed the likes of Ian Rush, Mark Hughes, Neville Southall, Dean Saunders and a young Ryan Giggs.
