United still intending to secure Mbeumo

MANCHESTER United are still looking to sign Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo as the squad returned to preseason training.
United are keen to sign the 25-year-old forward following the acquisition of Matheus Cunha from Wolves earlier in the summer.
They have had two offers for Mbeumo turned down by Brentford. There was hope that Mbeumo would have been able to join his potential new teammates yesterday ahead of a crucial preseason for Ruben Amorim’s squad.
However, a deal is yet to be agreed.
