Two men travelled 70 miles to burgle fuel station

TWO men travelled over 70 miles to burgle a petrol station in a Welsh market town, a court has heard.

Police launched an investigation after almost £6,400 in cash was stolen from the Tesco petrol station in Welshpool in the early hours of January 2, resulting in those responsible being caught within hours.
Ashley Owens, 41, and John Bishop, 36, both from Liverpool have since pleaded guilty in connection with the burglary.
