TEEN THREATENED WITH KNIFE IN BIZARRE VAN INCIDENT
A MAN brandished a knife before forcing a teenager to drive a van at 100mph.
Brooklyn O’Brien, 26, was under the influence of cocaine when he forced the 19-year-old to drive at excess speeds.
A judge yesterday said victim Ben Clooney must have been “terrified”.
She jailed O’Brien, of Chester Road, Oakenholt, Flintshire, for 10 months for threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place.
He was also given a 10-month concurrent jail term for encouraging the commission of dangerous driving.
Prosecutor Emmalyne Downing told Mold Crown Court Mr Clooney had been looking for work and saw an advert for a roofer on Facebook on April 13.
Mr Clooney spoke to a man and gave him his home address and they arranged for Mr Clooney to start work the next day.
