Gareth Davies sy'n rhannu ei stori am gael cyngor gyrfaoedd am ddim a sut y gwnaeth hynny ei helpu i ddarganfod pwrpas newydd

Ar ôl cyfnod o newid yn dilyn ailstrwythuro, cafodd Gareth Davies ei hun wrth groesffordd. Gyda'i swydd flaenorol yn dod i ben, penderfynodd ei bod hi'n bryd edrych ar bethau newydd, ond doedd e ddim yn siŵr ble i ddechrau

Ar ôl ychydig fisoedd o deithio a mwynhau'r amser annisgwyl i ffwrdd, dechreuodd pethau deimlo'n real. "Fe wnes i fwynhau cael cyfle i ymlacio i ddechrau. Fe wnaeth fy helpu i glirio fy mhen ar ôl colli fy swydd a threulio amser gyda'r teulu," mae'n cyfaddef. "Ond yna mae'r realiti'n eich taro chi, roedd angen talu biliau, ac roeddwn i'n gwybod bod angen i mi ddod o hyd i rywbeth yn go gyflym."

Cysylltodd Gareth â Cymru'n Gweithio, gwasanaeth cyngor a chyfarwyddyd gyrfaoedd am ddim sy'n cael ei ddarparu gan Gyrfa Cymru a'i ariannu gan Lywodraeth Cymru. Cafodd ei gyflwyno i Kelly, Cynghorydd Gyrfaoedd, a'i helpodd i weld beth oedd ei eisiau ar gyfer ei ddyfodol.

"Roedd Kelly yn anhygoel," meddai Gareth. "Nid yn unig wnaeth hi fy helpu i chwilio am swydd, fe wnaeth hi hefyd fy helpu i ganfod yn union beth roeddwn i ei eisiau o'm swydd nesaf."
