Goat trapped next to window sparks rescue bid
ONE of Llandudno's famous Great Orme goats sparked a major rescue operation after becoming trapped beside a basement window in Llandudno.
The RSPCA, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation were all alerted to reports of the stricken animal.
The RSPCA eventually carried out the rescue of the animal on Saturday, February 14.
An RSPCA officer used his handling expertise to lift the goat part of the way out and then the animal scrambled onto flat ground by its hind legs. No specialist equipment was needed.
